About Strength in Shadows

Our Story

We are two women who survived what was meant to break us — domestic violence, sexual assault, and the heavy shadows of trauma. For years, we carried our pain in silence, but through resilience, faith, and courage, we found our voices again.

Our journey hasn’t been easy. We’ve faced fear, loss, and moments where hope felt out of reach. But we’ve also discovered strength, healing, and the power of community. Today, we choose to speak out — not just for ourselves, but for every survivor who has ever felt alone.

Strength in Shadows was born from this mission: to create a safe space where hard truths can be spoken, healing can begin, and stories of survival can light the way for others. Here, no story is too heavy, no pain is too deep, and no survivor is ever alone.

This is our story — but it’s also yours. Together, we’re breaking the silence and turning pain into purpose.
